Der '''Schmelzofen''' verschmelzt Erze zu Barren und wird für viele Rezepte der [[Herstellung]] benötigt. Von [[Clint]] erhaltet ihr die Blaupause für den Schmelzofen in einer Zwischensequenz am Morgen nachdem ihr mindestens ein [[Kupfererz]] gesammelt habt. Beachtet, dass Kupfererz welches ihr aus Geoden, Schatzkisten vom Angeln oder von Clint gekauft '''nicht''' die Zwischensequenz einleiten. Das Erz müsst ihr selbst in der Mine farmen. Ihr müsst das Haus zwischen 06:00 Uhr und 11:30 Uhr verlassen, um die Zwischensequenz einzuleiten.
Wenn ihr Clint noch nicht getroffen habt bevor er euch die Blaupause zu bringt, zählt das Treffen als Kennenlernen.
Ein Schmelzofen ist Voraussetzung um die Trophäe für das {{Bundle|Blacksmiths||y}} zu erhalten.
